An arahant. In a previous birth he
worshipped with gladsome heart the thupa of Sikhī Buddha and gave carpenters
money to build an Āyāga (a long alms-hall, says ApA.).
As a result he was born in deva worlds
and could bring even the devas into subjection.
He could produce rain at will.
