A Nāga princess, daughter of Dhatarattha, the Nāga king. She was half-sister to the Bodhisatta Bhūridatta and helped his brother Sudassana to rescue the Bodhisatta from the clutches of the snake-charmer Ālambāna. She could shoot flames from her mouth and spit the deadliest poison. The story is related in the Bhūiridatta Jātaka (J.vi.157ff).
