Brother of Tissa, king of Kalyānī. He
was the queen's lover and, being discovered, fled from the capital and lived in
a district which was later named after him. He sent a letter to the queen by a
man disguised as a monk, but the ruse was discovered (Mhv.Xxii.13ff; MT.307).
