1. Bandhujīvaka Thera. An arahant. Thirty one
kappas ago he strung bandhujīvaka flowers together and offered them to Sikhī
Buddha. Seven kappas ago he was a king named Samantacakkhu (Ap.i.175f). He is
probably identical with Devasabha. ThagA.i.203f.
2. Bandhujīvaka Thera. An arahant. He met
Siddhattha Buddha in the forest ninety four kappas ago and offered him lotuses
and bandhujīvaka flowers. Fourteen kappas ago he was a king named Samuddakappa.
