Catudvāra Jātaka (No.439)
Contains the story of Mittavindaka.
The Jātaka probably derives its name from the fact that the Ussada-niraya,
where Mittavindaka was destined to suffer, looked like a city with four gates,
surrounded by a wall.
For the introductory story see the
Gijjha Jātaka.
The story is sometimes called the Mahā Mitta-vindaka Jātaka. E.g., J. i.363;
iii.206.
