A Pāli poem, composed in the reign of
Līlāvatī by Dhammakitti, at the request of the minister Parakkama.
It is based
on an older Sinhalese Chronicle, the Daladāvamsa, and is an elaborate work
dealing with the history of the Tooth Relic up to the time of its arrival in
Ceylon with prince datha in 4th century AC:

The Buddha's canine tooth is hidden in the princes's hair.
