Duvera or Anāthapindika Sutta
Anāthapindika visits the Buddha, who tells him of the five guilty fears -
that begotten
- by killing,
- by stealing,
- by wrong indulgence of sensual lust,
- by evil speaking, and
- by the drinking of intoxicants
- freedom from which, together with possession of the Noble Insight, enables
a man to say that he is destined for Enlightenment. S. v.387f.
