Ninety-two kappas ago he provided a place of residence for the Buddha Tissa in
an udumbara-grove and spread for him a carpet of flowers and paid homage to him
with clasped hands. Once he was a king, called Ekañjalika. Ap.i.236.
2. Ekañjalika Thera.An arahant.
Ninety-four kappas ago he saw the Pacceka Buddha Romasa, on the banks of a river
and, being pleased with his radiant appearance, paid homage to him with clasped
hands. Ap.i.281.
