King of Ceylon (1047-51 A.C.). He came
from Ayojjha, and claimed descent from the race of
Rāma.
Having slain Vikkamapandu he ruled in Rohana till he himself was slain by the Colas
(Cv.lvi.13f).
He had a daughter named Lilāvatī, who
later became the consort of Vijayabāhu I. Cv.lix.23f.
