A village near Cālikā; close by was the
river Kimikālā with the mango-grove on its banks.
Meghiya, while staying with the Buddha
at Cālikā, once went to Jantugāma for alms (A.iv.354; Ud.iv.1).
The Anguttara Commentary (AA.i.163) says
the village was in Pācinavamsamigadāya. v.l. Janagāma. UdA.217.
