1. Kassapa Sutta. Two suttas containing an account of the visit paid to the Buddha by Kassapa, the devaputta (q.v.). S.i.46f

2. Kassapa Sutta. Contains the thoughts that came to Kassapa Buddha, before his Enlightenment, on the nature of becoming, of cessation, etc. (S.ii.9; cf. D.ii.30f ). The same thoughts are also attributed to the other Buddhas, from Vipassī downwards. For details see Gotama Sutta.
