1. Matta. One of the seven children of Panduvāsudeva and Bhaddakaccānā. Dpv. x.3. 2. Matta. A householder in the Vihāravāpi village near the Tulādhāra Mountain; he was the father of Labhiya Vasabha. Mhv.xxiii.90. 3. Matta. A hunter who discovered four marvellous gems near Pelavāpikagāma, seven leagues to the north of Anurādhapura.
