Benares, father of the Bodhisatta in the
Culla Dhammapāla Jātaka. He is
identified with Devadatta.

Vīra (or Niggundipupphiya) Thera. ThagA.i.50;

3. Mahāpatāpa. A king of twenty seven kappas ago; a former birth of
