An arahant. Ninety one kappas ago he saw a pamsukūla robe hanging over the mountain Udaka (Umga), and being pleased with the sight, he offered before it three kinkhani flowers (Ap.ii.434). His Apadāna verses are mentioned in the Theragātha Commentary in connection both with Gosāla Thera (ThagA.ii.79) and with Mahākāla Thera (Ibid.,272).
