where the Buddha stayed in the Gomagga and was visited by
Hatthaka of Alavi. A.i.136.
2. Simsapāvana. A grove in Kosambī,
where the Buddha once stayed. See Simsapa sutta.

3. Simsapāvana. A grove to the north of Setavyā,
where Kumāra Kassapa once stayed. The
Buddha also once stayed there during a journey
(DhA.i.59). It was the scene of the preaching of the
Pāyāsi Sutta. D.ii.316.
