1. Sangayha Sutta. On the six spheres of contact
eye, ear, etc. and the necessity for controlling them in order to
get rid of lust and hate. S. iv.70f.
2. Sangayha Sutta. Mālunkyaputta visits the Buddha
in his old age and asks for a teaching in brief. The Buddha teaches him to guard
the six senses. S. iv.72f.
3. Sangayha Sutta. The Buddha explains to the monks
that they are fortunate to be born as men, and neither in hell, where all things
are uninviting, nor in heaven, where all things are attractive. S. iv.126.
