An arahant. In the past he set up a flagstaff over the cetiya of Dhammadasī Buddha and, climbing to the top of it, decked it with jasmine flowers. Ninety-four kappas ago he became king sixteen times, under the name of Thùpasikha (Ap.i.171). He is probably identical with Paripunnaka Thera. ThagA.i.190.
